The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) runs one of the largest scholarship programs in the province, helping talented students from low-income families fund their studies. If you're from Punjab and money is a barrier, this is one of the first scholarships to check.

Who PEEF is for

PEEF scholarships are aimed at students who are academically capable but financially constrained. There are schemes across school, college and university levels, including support for students from less-developed districts, minorities, and other priority groups.

Typical eligibility

  • Punjab domicile (or the relevant scheme's defined region)
  • A minimum academic standard in your last qualifying exam (commonly around 60%+, scheme-dependent)
  • Family income below the defined threshold
  • Enrolment in (or admission to) an eligible institution and program

Exact thresholds and eligible programs vary by scheme and year, so always check the current criteria on the official PEEF portal.

How to apply

  1. Watch for the scheme announcement and open application window on the official PEEF website.
  2. Create an account and complete the online application.
  3. Upload documents: CNIC/B-Form, domicile, previous results, fee challan/admission proof and income evidence.
  4. Submit before the deadline and keep your tracking details.

Combine it with other support

PEEF is one of several options. Also check the HEC Need-Based Scholarship and the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship, and use the Meritly scholarship checker to see what you may qualify for. Always verify details on the official scholarship portal before applying.
